In order to enhance our competitiveness, and to meet increasing demand from the China market, MEHG has set up a manufacturing plant in the city of Zhongshan, Guangdong Province. Here, products undergo stringent testing procedures to guarantee the highest safety and quality standards. The testing tower is one of the many facilities to test Mitsubishi Electric products and solutions against rigorous physical requirements. The tower also provides an important training base where MEHG engineers and technicians acquire the latest technologies in vertical transportation systems. They can also practice installation procedures as well as repair and maintenance works in a simulated environment.

The Zhongshan factory is also the hub of the Elevator Remote Monitoring System, a control center which monitors in real time the operational status of elevators, alerting equipment failures even before the clients are aware of any problems.

Coordinating all local service centers in major cities and townships, the Zhongshan 24-hour Elevator Service Center centralizes and processes repair calls so that all customers receive prompt service and total support from our professional service team.
